Sustainable HR development

In times of increasing flexibility and internationalization, it is of great importance, especially for Germany as a location for science, that continuing education and lifelong learning are promoted among all employees. This applies not only to technical skills, but also in particular to so-called meta-competencies such as social skills or project management.

Expenditures for vocational training were estimated at 35 billion and counting (BIBB). However, empirically it has not been proven yet that these trainings result in improvements on an individual (career success, promotion, job satisfaction) or organizational level (productivity, creativity, sales).

Accordingly, the CLPM team focusses on the following topics:

  1. Training and transfer effectiveness
  2. Sustainable HR development in academia

You can find publications of the members of the CLPM concerning the topic of "Sustainable HR development" here.
